Using it well

How to use the set

One routine, three tools, about five minutes. The order below is the one we would suggest.

Oil first
Cleanse, then apply your usual facial oil or serum and let it settle. Every stone in this box needs slip to glide on.
Gua sha for contour
Held almost flat at roughly fifteen degrees, anchored with the free hand, drawn away in one smooth sweep. Long curve along the jaw and cheekbone, broad flank across the forehead.
Roller for the even pass
Upward and outward, three to five passes per area, with the small stone under the eyes going from inner corner out to the temple along the bone.
Cooling stones to finish
Take the tin from the refrigerator and hold a stone flat against each closed eye for a minute. Refrigerator cold only, never frozen.
Clean everything, dry everything
Soft damp cloth, dried at once, all three back in the tray and the tin. Never soak the roller, because water in the brass yoke stiffens the spin.
