About this product

Four soft silicone bulbs in graduated sizes: two small ones for under the eyes and around the mouth, and two larger for the cheeks, jaw and neck. You squeeze the bulb, place it, and release. There is no pump, no valve and no hardware, which is exactly why a silicone cup is the sensible starting point rather than a glass-and-pump set.

The silicone is translucent and firm enough to hold its shape but soft enough to compress with fingertips alone. Facial cupping is a gliding technique rather than a stationary one, so the cup should keep moving; that is the single most important thing on this page. Supplied in a hard-shell case with a moulded tray.

How to use the cups

Facial cupping has one rule that matters more than all the others: the cup keeps moving. Read step two twice.

Oil generously first
More oil than you would use for a roller. The cup has to glide across the skin under light suction, and it cannot do that on a dry or barely oiled face.
Never leave a cup sitting still
A stationary cup on a face is what leaves a circular mark. Squeeze, place, release, and start gliding immediately. If it stops moving, release the suction and reposition.
Light suction, short passes
Squeeze the bulb only about a third of the way. Work outward and upward in short passes: jaw to ear, cheek to temple, brow outward. Use the small cups under the eyes with the gentlest squeeze you can manage.
Wash and dry fully after use
Warm soapy water, rinse, and air dry completely before the cups go back in the case. Silicone stored damp goes tacky and picks up odour.

Straight answers

Questions we are actually asked

Will this leave marks on my face?: Not if the cup keeps moving and the suction stays light. Marks come from a stationary cup or from squeezing the bulb too hard, both of which are avoidable.
How long should a session be?: Five minutes for the whole face is ample, and two or three times a week is a reasonable rhythm. This is not a technique that rewards doing more of it.
Cupping or gua sha?: They are different sensations doing broadly similar work. If you are new to either, start with gua sha; cupping asks for a lighter touch and more attention.
